When Indecision Is Blocking Your Breakthrough
How do you decide when all you feel is indecision?
When your mind is full of competing thoughts, fears, possibilities, and "what ifs," it can feel impossible to know which direction to go.
For me, I've noticed something interesting.
The first answer often comes quickly.
Before the analysis.
Before the overthinking.
Before the endless list of pros and cons.
That first impression—that quiet knowing—usually points me in the right direction.
I believe that's because our deepest wisdom doesn't come from the noise of the mind. It comes from our connection to God, from the heart, from the Spirit. Love moves quickly. Truth often arrives before fear argues with it.
Now, there is certainly a place for careful consideration. Wisdom matters. Planning matters. Looking at options matters.
But when I completely ignore that still, small voice within me and rely only on my conscious mind, that's when things seem to become more difficult. That's when I lose my sense of flow. That's when more obstacles appear. And that's when I feel disconnected from the direction I know I'm supposed to take.
So the next time you face a decision, try something different.
Pause.
Listen.
What is that still, small voice saying?
Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?
Some people hear it as intuition. Some feel it in their bodies. And some receive clarity through prayer, dreams, or sudden insight. However, it comes; don't dismiss it.
I believe God is always speaking.
The question is whether we're willing to listen.
When I follow that gentle leading, things move. Pathways become clearer. Obstacles seem to lose their grip. The next step reveals itself. Doors opened I couldn't have forced open on my own.
That is why, whenever I work with someone in a Breakthrough Session, I pay close attention to that still, small voice.
I listen.
I pray.
I follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Every Breakthrough Session begins with prayer and ends with prayer. Sometimes prayer becomes part of the entire process as we uncover and remove the beliefs, wounds, fears, and patterns that have been keeping someone stuck.
Recently, I've had the privilege of helping several people experience powerful breakthroughs.
One business owner discovered what was truly holding them back from success. Instead of continuing to build a business that consumed their life, they restructured their entire organization to support the life they actually wanted—one that includes time with family, grandchildren, rest, and joy rather than constant burnout.
Another person came seeking freedom in their health journey. They were caught in patterns and habits they no longer wanted, yet couldn't seem to break. Today, they're walking forward with renewed hope, making choices that support their well-being and embracing the process of growth with excitement instead of shame.
A third person came, wanting a deeper spiritual connection. From the outside, they appeared deeply connected to God. They prayed, served, studied Scripture, and spoke the language of faith. Yet underneath it all, they felt disconnected from God as their loving Father.
Together, we uncovered the lie that had been standing between them and that relationship.
Once it was exposed and released, everything changed.
The connection was restored.
The closeness returned.
The relationship deepened.
Tomorrow, I begin another Breakthrough Session with a business owner who is ready to uncover what has been standing between them and the success they have worked so hard to create.
Like so many others, they have spent years investing in everyone else while unknowingly holding themselves back.
And it all started with a decision.
A moment.
A whisper.
A still, small voice saying, "It's time."
And they said yes.
So let me ask you:
What is your heart trying to tell you?
What breakthrough have you been postponing?
What area of your life is asking for healing, clarity, freedom, or forward movement?
Whether it's your business, finances, relationships, health, spirituality, or your connection with yourself, you don't have to stay stuck where you are.
You were created for more than survival.
You were created to live fully, freely, and connected to the life God placed within your heart.
If you're ready for that kind of breakthrough—if you're ready to reconnect with your heart, your purpose, and the direction God is calling you toward—I would be honored to walk alongside you.
Reach out.
Your breakthrough may be one decision away.
